Test Suites
The Collis and Aspects test suites offer validation of a card or mobile handset against the relevant 3GPP specification in an efficient and cost-effective way. Test suites provide a fast route to thorough testing. You can trust our knowledge, as UL Transacton Security was involved in developing the standards and have coded the tests.
The Collis and Aspects test suites for SWP and HCI combine all of the benefits of our easy-to-use approach with Collis Test Manager. The beauty of Collis Test Manager is that it can be used in the design and set‐up of tests as well as the test execution. Collis Test Manager is a tool for engineers and test script developers as well as test managers, coordinators and analysts. It is a system designed with the entire test "family" in mind.
The Collis and Aspects test suites provides reliable acceptance testing. The test certificate show immediately whether a card has passed or failed. Failures can be investigated further using the Collis test tool portfolio for spying and monitoring the communication between handset and SIM or USIM (Aspects Spy).
Aspects Card Test Suites for GSM
The following test suites are available:
- ATS for 31.048
- ATS for 51.017
- ATS for 51.013
The Aspects Card Test Suite 31.048 contains the test cases defined in 3GPP TS 31.048 sections 5.1-5.3 - Security and 5.4 - remote file management for SIM. It contains 20 tests.
The tests cover:

The Aspects Test Suite 51.017 is a series of software-based tests you can use to validate the operation of your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) smartcard. The tests in the Aspects Test Suite 51.017 were developed using the most recent version of the 3GPP specification document 51.017: “Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Test Specification”. Over 30 individual tests to quickly identify noncompliant SIM cards.
The tests cover:
- Logical and timing level
- Transmission protocols
- Application and file structure
- Security features
- Commands and responses
- File content
Aspects Test Suite 51.013. ETSI Test Specification 51.013, “Test Specification for Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Application Programming Interface (API) for Java Card”. Over 160 tests to quickly identify non-compliant SIM cards.
The tests cover:

- Sim.toolkit package
- SIM Toolkit framework

Aspects Card Test Suites for 3G
The following test suites are available:
- ATS for 31.048
- ATS for 31.122
- ATS for 31.213
The Aspects Test Suite 31.048 (3G) contains the test cases defined in 3GPP TS 31.048 sections 5.1-5.3 - Security and 5.4 - remote file management for SIM. It contains 20 tests.
The tests cover:

- Remote file management for SIM
By using this test suite you can assure (in a fully automated manner) that your SIM complies with 3GPP Spec 31.048 for 3G. The test certificates show immediately whether a card has passed or failed. Failures can be investigated further by using Aspects Spy.
Aspects Test Suite 31.122. USIMs in accordance with the 3GPP 31.122 test specification, “Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) Conformance Test Specification“. Over 90 tests available to quickly identify non-compliant USIM cards.
The tests cover:

- File content
The Aspects Test Suite 31.213 (3G) contains the test cases defined in the following specifications:
- 3GPP TS 31.213 “Test specification for (U)SIM; Application Programming Interface (API) for Java Card™”
- ETSI TS 102 268 “Test specification for UICC Application Programming Interface (API) for Java Card™”.
The test suite contains over 300 test cases covering:
- uicc.usim.access package
- uicc.usim.toolkit package
- (U)SAT Framework
- uicc.access package
- uicc.toolkit package
- uicc.access.fileadministration
- uicc.system
- CAT runtime environment
By using this test suite you can assure (in a fully automated manner) that your USIM complies with the 3GPP TS 31.123 and ETSI TS 102 268 specifications.

Collis Card Test Suite SWP/HCI
The Collis Card Test Suite SWP/HCI is a card test suite for SWP and HCI UICC cards.There are a number of ETSI-defined test suites and tools that make up the entire SWP/HCI Test Tool portfolio.
With UL Transaction Security's strong background in secure transaction technology, together with hands on experience in major international projects and a track record in the Mobile/NFC market, it was a natural step to combine these competences to bring you Collis SWP/HCI Test Suites.
As UL Transaction Security was invited and contributed extensively to the ETSI Special Task Force that wrote the test specifications, you can be confident in the quality of our test suite implementation against these specifications.

This test suite runs on Collis Test Manager.
Collis GlobalPlatform Test Suites
The Collis Compliance Test Suite for GlobalPlatform UICC Configuration implements the official test suite developed for the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program. The test suite ensures the compliance of a UICC that implements the GlobalPlatform Card UICC Configuration specification which is based on GlobalPlatform Card version v2.2.1 technology. This Collis test suite has achieved qualified status under the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program.
This test suite runs on Collis Test Manager.
The Collis Compliance Test Suite for GlobalPlatform UICC Contactless Extension implements the official test suite developed for the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program. The test suite ensures the compliance of a UICC that implements the GlobalPlatform Card UICC Configuration - Contactless Extension specification which is based on GlobalPlatform Card version 2.2.1 Amendment C technology. This Collis test suite has achieved qualified status under the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program.
This test suite runs on Collis Test Manager.
The Collis Compliance Test Suite for GlobalPlatform Basic Financial Configuration implements the official test suite developed for the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program. The test suite ensures the compliance of a card that is designed to meet the needs of a finance card based on GlobalPlatform Card version 2.1.1 technology. This Collis test suite has achieved qualified status under the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program.
This test suite runs on Collis Test Manager.
The Collis Compliance Test Suite for GlobalPlatform Mapping Guidelines implements the official test suite developed for the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program. The test suite ensures the compliance of a card that implements the GlobalPlatform Mapping Guidelines specification which is based on GlobalPlatform Card version 2.2.1 technology. In addition this test suite has also been designed to be compatible with other cards that implement a core set of GlobalPlatform Card 2.2.1 functionality. This Collis test suite has achieved qualified status under the GlobalPlatform Compliance Program.
This test suite runs on Collis Test Manager.
Aspects Handset SAT Test Tool
The Aspects Handset SAT Test Tool enables mobile network operators and handset manufacturers to quickly and efficiently test a mobile phone’s SAT behavior. It is a stand-alone application for the testing of SIM Application Toolkit (SAT) enabled mobile phones based on the industry standard test specification 3GPP TS 51.010-4.
Aspects USAT Conformance Test Platform (Verify2 31.124)
The Aspects USAT Conformance Test Platform tests the conformance of a handset according to 3GPP specified test cases (TS 31.124). It tests 3GPP TS 31.111 “Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) Application Toolkit (USAT)”. These test cases have been validated according to both GCF and PTCRB.
Collis Handset Test Suite SWP/HCI
The Collis Handset Test Suite SWP/HCI is a handset test suite for SWP and HCI handsets, checking the interoperability with UICC cards.
There are a number of ETSI-defined test suites and tools that make up the entire SWP/HCI Test Tool portfolio.

This test suite runs on Collis Test Manager. Several test cases of the test suite has been validated by GCF and PTCRB.
